About The Designer of Premium Pearl
Iris Lee, the creative design director, also the founder of Premium Pearl, studied jewelry design at the prestigious Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts in San Francisco in 2003 after finishing her MBA program. Her love of pearls was sparked by a placement at a local pearl jewelry company and it was there that she began to build up her knowledge of pearls. Now a recognised expert in the industry, Iris takes pride in Premium Pearl being a leading online pearl jewelry retailer and constantly strives to provide the highest quality pearls at the best value for Premium Pearl customers. She achieves this by personally travelling the world and choosing every pearl that is used to create her exquisite jewelry. Her quest has taken her as far as French Polynesia in search of Tahiti's lustrous black pearls and to the South Sea's to seek out the rarest. Iris says, "Each pearl is unique, a natural work of art. It's important to me that I pick only the most refined ones that reflect the quality of Premium Pearl designs."
Iris has channelled her creativity into designing sensational pearl jewelry that has been featured in major publications including L.A. Brides, Latina, Family Circle and Audrey Magazine. Celebrities such as singer Fergie and actress Tamara Braun are great fans of Premium Pearl's work, as is renowned fashion stylist Lloyd Boston. She has also recently completed an exciting commission to design the signature pearl necklace that will appear in the Hollywood movie, 'The Pearls of the Stone Man'.
